Claire, a Colorado native, joined the firm in February 2020 and now serves as Senior Paralegal, overseeing complex permitting and regulatory matters with a focus on mining and natural resource development. She thrives on the challenge of bringing all the moving parts together for a permit application—coordinating with local and state agencies, managing technical details, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Before joining the firm, Claire worked in legal records for a large international law firm, where she specialized in process improvement and training legal staff.​

Claire specializes in natural resources, environmental, and real estate matters, with extensive experience in:

• Regulatory and Permitting – Coordinating and preparing permit applications for mining and resource development projects; managing communication and compliance with local and state agencies; drafting financial assurance instruments for oil and gas operations.
• Water and Real Estate Law – Researching and analyzing water rights, mineral ownership, and title commitments; preparing conveyance documents including deeds and easements.
• Litigation and Corporate Support – Drafting pleadings, managing discovery, organizing document production, and preparing corporate governance filings.
• Office Management and Training – Streamlining internal processes, managing administrative operations, and training staff.​

Claire acted as project manager for the preparation of a comprehensive Financial Assurance Plan that resulted in cost savings of nearly $4 million for the client.
