Kent Holsinger is the founder of Holsinger Law, LLC. He specializes in permitting, land use, water and endangered species issues. Kent’s efforts have been recognized in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Rocky Mountain News and CNN.com, among others. Kent comes from a ranching family in Jackson County. He is a member of the National Western Association and an Advisory Board Member to the Leadership Program of the Rockies. Jack Silver became of counsel to Holsinger Law in December of 2007. Jack brings 33 years of litigation, corporate and transactional experience to the firm. He was the Senior Partner at Silver & Hayes, PC from 1978 to 1991 and Silver, Robinson, Tobin & Schuyler, PC from 1991 to 1997. Since then, Jack founded and served in leadership roles in development, banking and construction companies. Jack received his B.A. in Economics from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, Denver, Colorado in 1973. Laura Chartrand joined Holsinger Law as an associate in August of 2007. She earned her B.A. at the State University of New York Paltz in May, 1988 and her J.D. at the University of Denver, College of Law in May, 2007. Laura received academic honors for highest grade in her Water Law course and served on the editorial board for the University of Denver Water Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a policy specialist for the Western Business Roundtable on regulatory matters including the Clean Water Act and the ESA.
